PETAL KALEIDOSCOPE WINDOWS

ANTHROPOLOGIE/LONDON

Symmetrical floral windows inspired by exotic greenhouses and individual beauty of petals with their rich colours and intricate details. Each petal was handmade either from cotton, muslin or crepe paper. They were individually dyed in ink baths and later embroidered. To imitate nature, none of them look exactly the same. Yet when assembled on frames they create the impression of repetition and symmetrical patterns.
